busy busy busy

So it has truly been too long since either of us has posted. I believe I was still in the States the last time that I typed, needless to say my location has since changed. I made it to Ireland, although a day later that expected. The flight I had from Atlanta to Dublin was cancelled so I was able to spend an unexpected day with my sister which of course was tons of fun. Adam and I had plans to head up to Northern Ireland the first weekend I was back, so with landing a day late I got out of the taxi and into our rental car for the drive north. As you can see from the pictures it was quite a fancy rental car but it got us around safely and for quite a deal. We visited Giant's Causeway, very cool but for some reason I expected it to be much much bigger, Carrick-a-Rede rope bridge, Dunluce Castle and the Bushmill's Distillery. All were very very fun and thankfully I actually remember it all thanks to some tylenol pm, it sure makes adjusting time zones easier.

After an eventful weekend I started my week right away with immigration and thankfully had no problems. Having a completed work permit almost makes me like a citizen here. Although I still cannot open my own bank account I'm working on it. Finished getting my PPS number, like a social security number, which should allow me now to get paid.

I have successfully also started working. I am in the clinic Monday, Wednesday and Friday's. Thursdays are filled with different networking meetings and groups which I have tons of fun with, although the day does start at 6:30am. Saturdays usually are filled with screenings to bring in new patients, also fun because I truly enjoy my co-workers.

That's really about all for now. Trying to re-adjust and get used to my busy life. It sure is nice seeing Adam when I can, some weeks that just means Sundays. We are also working on a trip to London the first weekend in March, which will be great even if we don't see any of the sights because we are meeting up with a great friend and her family!
